Arch Getty is Distinguished Professor of History at UCLA. His seven books and 50 articles on Russia have been published in 10 countries. Getty was a Guggenheim Fellow, a Senior Fellow at Columbia, Harvard, and the Russian Academy of Sciences and a Visiting Scholar at the Sorbonne.
