The UCLA Retirees’ Association (UCLARA), an active and vibrant organization, provides opportunities to continue friendships with colleagues and stay engaged with the campus through a wide variety of activities and events. More importantly, UCLARA monitors issues that might affect retirees, represents retiree interests to University administrators and advocates for retention of retiree benefits. Membership dues support our advocacy efforts and member activities.

Survey Report Emphasizes Retiree Contributions
UCLARA has been recognized by the UC Regents as an official affiliate organization of UCLA. The association partners with the UCLA Emeriti Association and several other campus units to represent retiree interests to the University and include retirees in campus life.
UCLARA receives administrative support from the UCLA Emeriti/Retirees Relations Center (ERRC), a campus department that provides the connecting link between UCLA and its retirees. The ERRC sends regular retiree email updates, offers educational workshops, publicizes volunteer opportunities, provides resource referrals and offers complimentary notary services to retirees.
