UCLARA day trip: Los Angeles County Arboretum

Open to all retirees and emeriti. UCLARA/PPGC member cost is $9. Non-member guest cost is $19.

Join us for a Fall colors tour of the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia, led by Frank McDonough, information officer and tree specialist at the arboretum. This tour, sponsored by the Pacific Palisades Garden Club (PPGC), is open to UCLA retirees and emeriti.

The bus, courtesy of Councilman Mike Bonin’s office, was arranged for by Palisades Beautiful. To board the bus, drive to the top of Los Liones Drive in Pacific Palisades and park on the street opposite the small parking lot, or in the lot if not full. Los Liones Drive is off of Sunset Boulevard about three blocks from the Pacific Coast Highway.

Bus: available for boarding at 9 a.m.; departs at 9:15 a.m.; returns at approximately 3 p.m.

Lunch: No-host; choice of many restaurants in the nearby Westfield Mall in Arcadia

Registration: Deadline to register is Monday, December 4. Online payments are not available for this event. Mail your check, payable to PPGC, to Barbara Wold at 261 S. Carmelina Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
