Inspiration Point about .5 miles from the Runyon Canyon trailhead overlooking Hollywood.
Join the Hiking Group for our next outing at Runyon Canyon Park at 10:00 am on Wed, Dec. 18. This is one of L.A’s most popular hikes that offers tremendous views of the L.A. basin. On a clear day you can see from the snow capped San Gabriel mountains to Palos Verdes and West L.A. We’ll be taking a 3.3 mile loop trail that is generally wide and well traveled. However there is a difficult steep, narrow and rocky uphill section that requires good balance and large steps
Activity Level: A section of the trail is a steep uphill. Plan on cautious travel here. Dress for cool temperatures. Bring water, sun screen and a hat. NOTE: there are no restrooms available at either the trail head or summit.
