The Retirees Association has partnered with LA Opera Connects to deliver a performance of songs of “Love and Devotion” to honor Valentine’s Day, 2021. If any of you enjoyed LA Opera Connects performance back in November, you know the fine voices of these talented performers.
Their challenge was to assemble an exciting playlist of songs from American musical theater; so you will most likely recognize many of the tunes. Here’s a sample,
“Adelaide’s Lament” from Guys and Dolls
“I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady
“So in Love” from Kiss Me, Kate
“Till There Was You” from The Music Man
