Our speaker on April 8, 2021, will be a familiar face in a less familiar role. Former Vice Chancellor for Academic Personnel and well-known campus personality, Carole Goldberg will speak to us about her recent study of the Native Americans amongst us, the indigenous Tongva people who first settled our city and who continue to reside here. Carole--who is so dynamic as a speaker--is a nationally renowned authority on Indian law and has served on numerous scholarly and governmental committees in this area.
