Professor Dana Cuff from the department of Architecture and Urban Design will speak about the housing crisis in Los Angeles and California and discuss some approaches to the solution.
Professor Cuff is actively engaged in many aspects of this problem. She is founding director of cityLAB at UCLA which explores the challenges facing the 21st century metropolis through research and design. cityLAB has developed sustainable, high-performance, low-cost housing prototypes for infill sites ranging from backyards to schoolyards
