Welcome to the Museum of Flying at the Santa Monica Airport!

Sponsored by the UCLA Retirees Association.

The Museum collection consists of the many original artifacts related to the Douglas Aircraft Company, a variety of exhibits, aviation art, and features an array of aircraft from a Wright Flyer replica to aircraft of the jet age.   The subject matter is not just history of flying, but also local history, including women in aviation. Join Steve Benesch, Director of the Museum, on a 1 hour tour (plus 30 minute film showing) of a landmark in aviation history.

The tour is in-person and limited to 30 attendees.  The cost for the tour is $6 per person.  Lunch, on your own, can be had nearby at The Cloverfield Restaurant, which has plenty of outdoor dining space.

The Museum of Flying is located at 3100 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica 90405. More information can be found at the Museum's website   Plan Your Visit | Museum of Flying

Note that for the safety of our members and guests, masks and distancing will be strongly encouraged for all indoor spaces.  Kindly provide a vaccination record or a negative COVID test result when checking in for the tour.
