
The UCLA Police Department is dedicated to promoting and maintaining safety awareness through community outreach programs. The Crime Prevention Unit is dedicated to developing and coordinating a variety of activities to meet the safety needs of the entire campus community and serves as a valuable resource available to all campus members.
The UCLA Police Department sets a standard of excellence in law enforcement and serves a multicultural, educational environment of over 82,500 faculty, staff and students in Los Angeles. It is a part of the statewide UC Police system of about 410 sworn personnel.
