The Legacy of Millard Sheets with the LA Conservancy

Remember Home Savings (now New Balance shoes)?  Did you know that Southern California designer and artist Millard Sheets brought all those iconic banks' mosaics into being?  Join us for a wonderous tour of Sheets' art and architectural design of recognizable buildings.    

Millard Owen Sheets (June 24, 1907 – March 31, 1989) was an American artist, teacher, and architectural designer. He was one of the earliest of the California Scene Painting artists and helped define the art movement.

Registration: Open to all RA, FWC  and EA members.  All registration closes on Tuesday August 25, 2023.  There is no cost to attend this virtual tour-it is brought to you gratis by the UCLA RA and is paid for by the dues to this organization. But you must register to attend.
