The Emeriti and Retirees Associations invite you to an engaging conversation with Coach Cori Close. head coach of the UCLA Women's Basketball program. She will be in conversation with Stuart Wolpert, director of UCLA Conversations, followed by an audience Q&A.

Cori Close, the Michael Price Family UCLA Women’s Head Basketball Coach, who was selected as the 2025 Naismith Coach of the Year, will discuss women’s basketball, her team’s program, and her teaching and mentoring of young women with Stuart Wolpert, director of UCLA Conversations, followed by an audience Q&A. Coach Close has the most wins by a head coach in the history of UCLA’s women’s basketball, and achieved the 30-win mark for the first time in UCLA women’s basketball history. She became the first women's basketball coach to reach 300 wins at UCLA.

Seating is limited for this program and you must register to be assured of a seat.

The UCLA Emeriti Association and the UCLA Retirees Association (UCLARA) are both all-volunteer organizations that represent the interests of UCLA's retired faculty/staff and plan programs for their members.
