The Promenade (1877) by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, J. Paul Getty Museum

Why We Love Impressionist Paintings.

Impressionist artworks continue to fascinate. The movement’s enduring appeal lies in its ability to transform everyday scenes into beautiful, emotionally resonant experiences.

From urban glimpses documenting modern life in Paris to suburban and rural landscapes reflecting the ever-changing qualities of light, we’ll delve into paintings by Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Degas, and Morisot.

Come join us for an in-depth look at our continual love of some of the renowned painters of the 20th Century. Our guide is Ms. Clare Kunny of ArtMuseLA.

Clare Kunny is an art historian and museum professional.  She has worked in the education departments at The Art Institute of Chicago and the J. Paul Getty Museum.  In 2012, Clare founded Art Muse LA, an independent art education company that now operates in Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami.

There is a charge--$25 per household-to attend this program just to cover our costs with ArtMuseLA, to be paid by each registrant. This modest cost allows us to bring quality programs to our attendees.

ZOOM Info

The ZOOM link for this program will be sent via email to those who register.  This is a per-household program and you can have as many persons join you for the event at the registrant's computer. Please do not send the ZOOM link to anyone else.
