“Community Brain Health & Caregiving Program”
Please join us virtually for a Zoom program with our guest webinar lecturer, Ms. Monica Moore as she leads a discussion on community brain health and caregiving programs, highlighting resources, strategies, and support systems available for individuals and families impacted by memory disorders.
This Age-Friendly initiative is designed to support older adults, caregivers, and community members through education, early awareness, and connection to resources. The program combines dementia and caregiving information, and ability for intergenerational brain health screenings conducted in partnership with students.
- Increase community understanding of dementia, cognitive aging, and brain health
- Support caregivers with practical tools, peer connection, and evidence-informed guidance
- Promote early awareness of cognitive changes through voluntary brain health screenings
- Foster meaningful intergenerational engagement between students and older adults
- Connect participants to campus and community-based resources
